South Circular Road / Brookfield Road Junction Upgrade

These works are part of the Kilmainham to Ballsbridge South City Loop Scheme. This phase is currently at the Preliminary Design stage. Dublin City Council is upgrading the South Circular Road – Brookfield Road Junction. This junction is at the entrance to the new Children’s Hospital and St James’ Hospital. The objective of the scheme is to improve pedestrian and cycle routes through the junction. This scheme is approximately 200 metres long and starts on Brookfield Road at the new National Children’s Hospital entrance, continues south through the South Circular Road- Brookfield Road junction and finishes just north of Rialto Bridge.
