A request has been received from the City Council's Road Maintenance Division for the temporary closure of the following road to facilitate carriageway resurfacing on the dates and times listed below:

06.00hrs to 18.30hrs each day
Date
Tuesday 4th February 2025 and Thursday 6th February 2025
Traffic Management Plan- Pedestrian access will be facilitated at all times.
- Local access will be facilitated when possible from all closure points.
- Traffic Controllers to be located at junction with Peter Row and Aungier Street and at the junction with Whitefriar Street And Peter Street.
- Also at the Junction of Peter Street and Bride Street.
- Residents to be notified in advance of these roadworks and TM system to be put in place.
- Site Access/Egress signs and location/directional signs will be positioned to suit progress of works.
- Northbound traffic arriving from Angier's Street will be diverted to Longford Street Little – Whitefriar Street
- Southbound traffic arriving from Whitefriar Street will be diverted to Wood Street – Whitefriar Street – Stephens Street Upper – Aungier Street.
