The Sandyford Clonskeagh to Charlemont Street Project

The Sandyford Clonskeagh to Charlemont Street Pedestrian and Cyclist Improvement Scheme (SC2C) project is part of the Dublin City Council (DCC) core active travel network, and is funded by the National Transport Authority (NTA). It will provide 3km of high-quality walking and cycling facilities along with significant urban realm improvements for the extents of the route from Clonskeagh Road to Charlemont Street, extending from the River Dodder along Sandford Road, Ranelagh, Ranelagh Road and Charlemont Street to the Junction of Harcourt Road. It is a primary route on the Greater Dublin Area Cycle Network Plan. The project includes public realm enhancements, signalised pedestrian crossings and greening of the route.
