Chesterfield Avenue Active Travel Scheme
This scheme enhances walking and cycling facilities in the Phoenix Park. The OPW aims to protect and conserve the Phoenix Park's historic landscape and character, as well as its archaeological, architectural and natural heritage, while also facilitating visitor access, education and interpretation, research, recreation and other appropriate activities.
This Active Travel scheme will upgrade walking and cycle facilities along Chesterfield Avenue in the Phoenix Park between Castleknock Gate and Conyngham Road/Parkgate Street. These changes will be made in a manner that is consistent with the OPW's vision for the park. View Full Project Information on DCC's Active Travel Website
